YZi Labs Leads $50 Million Seed Round for BPN Stablecoin Payments

Published

on

YZi Labs, formerly Binance Labs, spearheaded a $50 million seed round for BPN, a stablecoin payments firm, on October 17, 2025. This investment focuses on cutting-edge areas like stablecoins and Web3 tools, part of YZi’s EASY Residency program fostering AI and biotech integration.

CZ emphasized third-party custodians for DAT companies, a prerequisite for YZi investments. This aligns with global trends, including Alipay’s ETH L2 for payments and Coinbase’s USDC links.

The funding underscores stablecoins’ role in DeFi, with yields exploding (Morpho at 81% APY). For BPN, this could accelerate adoption in emerging markets like India, where Aptos partners with Reliance Jio.

As crypto seeks stability amid crashes, such investments signal long-term confidence.
